Restorative Yoga Training

Restorative Yoga is the deeply healing lunar practice which balances the ubiquitous solar practices and stressful modern life. We do not exert or effort in Restorative yoga, but in fact surrender in long holds so that all physiological systems soften and open. Assists/gentle bodywork may also be offered so that deep layers of tension in the musculo-skeletal structure, nervous system, emotional body, and mind can dissipate. Come and cultivate a sense of being safely held and drift into a deep state of tranquility, cellular repair, and naturally arising wisdom.

This Level 1 training will elucidate Restorative Yoga sequencing, methodology, cueing, assists, and use of props. We will also practice together to access the deepest states of relaxation. A public class will be offered on Sunday to help establish a safe, intelligent home practice. Trainees are welcome to this Sunday offering to take class, observe, or practice their newly-learned assists.

No formal Yoga Training Required but experience with yoga practice and some methodology is. If you have questions, contact Beth.
